We are looking forward to our celebratory summer evening on Monday 24th July at Somerset House with some delicious MarGin gin and Double Dutch tonic cocktails.
We will have an opportunity to explore Aindrea Emelife's latest exhibition, BLACK VENUS which brings together the work of over 20 Black women and non-binary artists to explore the othering, fetishisation and reclamation of narratives around Black femininity.
This evening also marks the opening of applications for our sponsorship programme, made possible by the generous support of MarGin and Hauser & Wirth. Ten sponsored memberships are available annually to encourage the widening participation and diversity of the AWITA community. We especially welcome applications from arts professionals who identify with communities which are underrepresented in our industry.
