Cromwell Place Partnership
Events Partner 2020 - 2023
AWITA have worked with Cromwell Place since their opening in October 2020. Set within five Grade II listed Victorian townhouses in South Kensington, Cromwell Place is one of London’s most exciting arts destinations, offering a year-round programme of diverse exhibitions and events across 15 gallery spaces open to the public, alongside a restaurant and bar, The Hazel Bar & Kitchen.
As a membership organisation and innovative arts hub, it provides an environment in which galleries, collectors, dealers, curators, and arts professionals can collaborate and flourish together. Apart from elegant exhibition spaces, members can take advantage of storage on site, viewing rooms and bonded Customs Warehouse status; meaning that you can have things shipped to their premises to show and sell to clients without paying import VAT upfront.
They also offer permanent offices, flexible co-working spaces, on-site art handlers, a beautiful Bar and Dining Room (The Hazel Bar & Kitchen) for client lunches, and a full-service hospitality team to deliver anything from intimate breakfasts to seated dinners.
You can find details of their various membership tiers and their benefits here. Visit the What's On page to see various exhibitions and events happening.
Cromwell Place has partnered with AWITA co-hosting coffee morning events centred on female artist and curator shows. In November 2021, Cromwell Place hosted AWITA’s Fifth Anniversary evening and have hosted workshops and panel discussions in partnership with PAIAM and a-n The Artists Information Company.
