If you were to give advice to your younger self, what would it be?
That it’s ok to not know what you want to do at the beginning of your career – try a few different things and work out what’s right for you. It’s never too late to change and any experience is valuable experience.

What are you excited about right now?
I am excited about what 2019 holds for Black Box Projects. We have just taken on some new artists who we will announce soon, in February we are holding the UK debut show of New York-based artist and photographer Liz Nielsen and we are set to move into our permanent office at Cromwell Place in September 2019.

Which female artist, living or dead, would you invite to a fantasy dinner party and why?
Bridget Riley. I find her use of colour so uplifting. Her career has spanned six decades now so I’d love to talk to her about how she has navigated an ever-changing art world. She also pioneered a whole new art movement – op art – and has stuck to her guns ever since. I find that tenacity admirable.
