Tell us about a woman, well-known or not, whom you admire and why.
I have been a fan of Michelle Obama for a long time, and her recent autobiography only reiterated my respect for her; from the values and stamina in forging a career and bringing up children to her admirable grace in dealing with public life in all its aspects. Her honesty is refreshing and her grit inspiring. Like for her, education was what made it possible for me to be where and who I am today.

If you were to give advice to your younger self, what would it be?
Enjoy the ride every step of the way and don’t worry so much, simply trust your instincts (they’re good!).

Do you feel lucky to do what you do?
I have dreamt about working in the international art world since my early student days, and I am aware that I am incredibly lucky to be in this industry at this level. That fulfilment motivates me every day when I go to work.
